Md. Touhidul Islam, Lecturer, in the Department of English at ISU has experience of teaching both language and literature in the Department of English at Bangladesh Army University of Science and Technology (BAUST), Saidpur and Dhaka International University for 3 years. One of his short stories has been published in “Ten Square: Hundred-Word Stories From Bangladesh”. He wrote, coordinated and edited MA syllabus at BAUST. His area of interests are creative writing, applied linguistics, translation studies, and education. Being a young, energetic and student-friendly teacher, he has taken the opportunity to instruct a wide variety of students from various backgrounds, countries and different facets of the society.

Mr. Touhid is fully acquainted with the recent trends and tendencies of language teaching and has experience of manipulating technology in the classroom to make the most of the learning experience. He is actively running a facebook page for literary enthusiasts and also for literary students. The name of his page is ‘Read & Reflect: Arts, Language, Literature, and Beyond’.
