Ms. Shushmita Hossain khan, lecturer, in the Department of English at ISU has experience of working as an Education Coordinator at JAAGO Foundation. Her key responsibilities were to provide teachers with key insights into English language teaching, preparing Lesson Plans and Activities that enable students to practice the English language in the classroom, provide instructions to the teachers about applying various teaching techniques of ELT, design school curriculum and promote effective teaching methods, and conduct workshops for the professional development of the teachers. She worked as a content writer from 2018-2019 at Future Lab, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She was involved in guiding students with their coursework, checking assignment scripts of English Basic course and assisting students to improve their English speaking/communication skill from 2014 - 2016 as an Undergraduate Teaching Assistant at East West University. Her area of interests is Applied Linguistics, Psycholinguistics, Sociolinguistics, Critical Discourse Analysis, Creative Writing, TESOL and Education
