Md. Mahbubur Rahman works as an Associate Professor of the Department of Business Administration at International Standard University (ISU). In addition, he serves as a Director of the Center for Research, Development and Publications (CRDP). He is highly committed faculty member and keen to build links between development organisations and academic and research institutions. He works on sustainable development, development policy, practices and associated national, and international aid issues. He successfully completed PhD Research Training in the Department of Development Studies, Faculty of Social Sciences, from the University of New South Wales, Australia. He did his Research Master’s in Development Studies from Lund University, Sweden. He was received Lund University Global Scholarship for conducting the Research Masters. He was awarded Lund University Crafoord Research Scholarship for conducting his Master’s thesis. Prior to this, he completed Bachelor and Master’s in Anthropology from the University of Dhaka. In both exams, he received First Class 2nd position and was awarded Scholarship from the Faculty of Social Sciences, University of Dhaka, for his outstanding results. He has about nine years of experiences in both teaching and research arenas. He produced more than dozens of articles in the peer reviewed journals in home and abroad. Moreover, he published a research book in LAP Lambert publication house, from Germany.

I take a special interest in sustainable development, climate change and global health. I am keen to observe the relationship between natural disasters and human Induced hazards for formulating the policies and systems in the aftermath of crises. I am especially interested in rights-based approach shedding lights on equity, social justice, non-discrimination, participation, user engagement, in promoting human rights and social justice in the global scales.
