Dr. Mohammad Abu Nayeem, Assistant Professor & Chairperson, in the Department of English at ISU has always been enthusiastic about teaching and research. He has over 15 years of teaching experience at home and abroad. Prior to coming to ISU, he worked as an ESL teacher at Asian University for Women (Chittagong), Southeast University, the University of Asia Pacific, BGMEA University, and SMP in Saudi Arabia. He obtained his PhD (Arts) degree from Jadavpur University in India. Moreover, he has a number of publications in national and international journals. In addition to instructing Bangladeshi pupils, he also taught a diverse range of students from varied nations and cultures, such as Afghanistan, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Syria, Timore Leste, Vietnam, Yemen, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt.
